Questions about fees and payments
Q: Will you send me a receipt or a detailed statement?
A: If you would like a receipt and/or a detailed statement, please indicate this in the remarks section when booking. If you have already made a booking, please reply with your request. Receipts can be sent by postal mail or as a PDF, while detailed statements can only be viewed on the payment page.
Q: I would like to place an advertisement inside the studio. How do I do this?
A: For new registrants from April 1, 2021, advertising will be subject to a fee. Click here for details.
Q: I forgot to cancel my booking. Will I still be charged?
A: Cancellations are free up to one hour before the booking time (more precisely, up to 61 minutes before your booking time). However, if you miss this deadline, you will be charged the usage fee even if you do not use the studio. Please note that we do not accept post-cancellations.
Q: I missed the payment due date. What should I do? Are there any penalties?
A: If you miss the payment due date, you will receive an email regarding the overdue payment. If the payment remains overdue after receiving this email, your account will eventually be suspended. Your account will be reactivated after the overdue payment is made. As a penalty, an administrative fee of ¥500 will be incurred for re-billing. Please also note that if an account is suspended, payment will be due the following day.
Q: Who is responsible for the bank transfer fees for the studio charges?
A: The customer is responsible for these fees.
Q: Can I check the total amount of my current studio usage fees?
A: For information on checking usage fees, please refer to here.
Q: I made a mistake with the booking date/time and used the studio. What happens to the charges?
A: Using the studio due to a mistake in the booking date/time or after the scheduled usage time is considered unauthorized use. Charges will include the unauthorized usage fee plus a third-party damage fee. The third-party damage fee will be added if a third-party customer, who had a legitimate booking, is unable to use the studio, and it will be calculated based on the number of people in their booking. The third-party damage fee will be the applicable third-party rate for the amount of time that the third party was unable to use the studio on that day due to your exceeding your booking time. For example, if you extend your usage by 1 hour without authorization and a third-party user who had a legitimate booking for that time is unable to use the studio, if that third-party user had a 1-hour booking, then 1 hour multiplied by the number of people in their booking will be added to your charges. If the third-party user had a 5-hour booking, and they used the studio for 2 hours within that 5-hour period, then the remaining 3 hours multiplied by the number of people in the third-party booking will be added to your charges. In this case, if the third-party user used the studio for 0 hours, then 5 hours multiplied by the number of people in the third-party booking will be added to your charges. This fee will be based on the rate applicable to the third-party user. Unauthorized use results in complex additional charges. Please be extremely careful and manage your booking times strictly, as it can also lead to account suspension.
